We the undersigned are writing to draw the committee's attention
to what we believe meets the definition of ACM's Code of Conduct
as 'Gross Misconduct'. We ask that membership for Vinton G. Cerf
be terminated per that Code.
It seems that Send-Safe is moving (being kicked?) off of MCI, to
Russia.

This matter may therefore be mooted.

If that can be confirmed. they are still listed on spamhaus.

would it be mooted though? MCI has an even 200 spammer listings on
spamhaus at the moment. If all 5 send-safe listings go away, they will
still be the number one spam haven in the world by a substantial margin.
I think we need letters to the editor cheering on Qwest against Verizon
as being more likely to boot spammers if they acquire MCI. I know Qwest
had a bad rep, but they don't have many spamhaus entries any more.
Verizon is sitting there at number 9 in the Spamhaus Top Ten.

There is talk going around also that China is about to pass an anti-spam
law. There is a delicious irony if China enacts the law, actually
enforces it (watch out for low flying porcine aviators), and decides to
adopt the LINX position and block MCI, Kornet, SBC, etc.

I wonder if cleaning up spammers was a price of the Verizon bid?

Also, Rusty Campbell is associated with Send-Safe somehow, isn't he? I
see a new kornet listing for him (61.78.61.253/32). However, looking at
the latest resolved issues list on Spamhaus, it looks like Kornet is
cleaning house too. 15 of last 25 resolved issues are Kornet. Above.net
may be stepping up too. WTF happened?
